Cleaning &Texturing: Wafers undergo a meticulous cleaning process using specialized industrial soaps to form square-based pyramids, known as texture. This advanced texturization method significantly reduces sunlight reflection, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency of the solar cells.
Diffusion: Initially pre-doped with boron during the casting phase, the wafers are then imbued with a negative (n-type) surface characteristic through a high-temperature diffusion process using a phosphorus source. This critical step forms the essential negative/positive (n-p) junction that is vital for solar cell functionality.
Etching : During phosphorus diffusion, unwanted PN junctions may form on the wafer sides and the opposite surface, potentially creating shunt paths between the cell's front and rear. These unwanted paths are effectively removed through an etching process, ensuring proper isolation of the edges and junctions.
PECVD : Utilizing PECVD equipment, wafers are coated with an anti-reflection coating (ARC) consisting of a blue silicon nitride film. This film minimizes reflection and maximizes light absorption, optimizing the efficiency of the solar cells.
Printing & Heating: Electrodes on silicon solar cells are precisely printed using advanced screen technology. This ensures an optimal ohmic contact, which is crucial for the efficient operation of the solar cells.
Testing & Sorting: Solar cells are rigorously tested under simulated sunlight conditions and classified based on their efficiency. This ensures that only the highest quality cells are used in our solar modules.
