Solar Cell Production Line
Cleaning & PreparationTexturization: The wafers undergo a meticulous cleaning process using industrial soaps, which helps in forming square-based pyramids, known as texture. This texturization significantly reduces sunlight reflection, enhancing the overall efficiency of the solar cells.

Diffusion Process: Pre-doped with boron during the casting process, the wafers are exposed to a phosphorus source at high temperatures to achieve a negative (n-type) surface characteristic. This crucial step creates the negative/positive (n-p) junction essential for solar cell functionality.

Etching Procedure : During diffusion, phosphorus penetrates not only the desired wafer surface but also its sides and opposite surface, forming a PN junction. To eliminate the shunt path between the cell's front and rear, edge junction isolation, referred to as etching, is employed.

PECVD Coating : Via PECVD equipment, wafers are given an anti-reflection coating (ARC) comprising a blue silicon nitride film. This coating reduces reflection and enhances light absorption, boosting the solar cell's efficiency.

Printing & Heating: Utilizing screen printing technology, electrode patterns are meticulously printed onto the silicon solar cells, ensuring superior ohmic contact and optimal electrical performance.

Testing & Sorting: The solar cells are classified based on their efficiency, as determined under simulated sunlight conditions. This rigorous testing ensures only the highest quality cells are selected for use.
